Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, 1938: San Juan, Puerto Rico
Designed by Osvaldo Toro, this bank is a superb example of Art Deco, located in Old San Juan in Puerto Rico. Standing at the base of this magnificent edifice, I half expected to see Superman soaring overhead. More views:
Those Art Deco handrails outside on the steps are gorgeous. Just the look and feel of them transports me back in time. Wonderful place!

Jose V. Toledo Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, Cll Recinto Sur, San Juan, Puerto Rico

The building is multi-phase, with the 1940 late Art Deco tower being the most recent. The earlier courthouse building can be seen on the right side of the complex in the above photo.
